WAY Kuwait invited the Hilal Al Quds team’s cubs for an eventful day around Kuwait, with the guest of honor, actor and director Kassem Istanbouli. The day kicked off with a joyful boat trip around Kuwait City, which started from “Marina Crescent”, jam-packed with music, stories, and fun. With the participation of Kassem Istanbouli and WAY members, the cubs hit the battleground at Kuwait’s paintball field. At one of Kuwait’s famous traditional restaurants, the group enjoyed lunch while learning about Kuwaiti culture and heritage. The day ended by attending Kuwait’s very own rally show.

Noteworthy is that Hilal Al-Quds team’s cubs were on a visit to Kuwait to participate in the Annual Friendship Football Championship, which they deservedly won.

Such events aim to connect young Palestinians living in the occupied territories with Palestinians from the diaspora to learn more about their daily lives and to support their steadfastness. Through this event WAY Kuwait was able to secure a sponsorship for three of the youth to attend the AC Milan summer course next year in Italy; they were also able to arrange training for Hilal Al Quds’s coach in Kuwait in addition to other capacity building activities.
